Antoine et Lili are a French fashion boutique based in Canterbury. They held a late-night shopping event in the run-up to Christmas; we provided video coverage of the event, which was edited into a short video for social media. We also provided copy and social media marketing.
To create a beautiful, emotive video which showcased the Christmas event held by the shops in the Cathedral Quarter and evoked a sense of happiness, Christmas spirit and a ‘magical, unique’ time that you had to experience in person. Enhance the brand awareness of the Cathedral Quarter and encourage physical visitors to the area.
Promotion for the event was achieved through copy+image teasers posted to Instagram; ideas had to be generated for promoting an event with little-to-no content. The promotion was targeted online to the correct audience (local). After the event, the video was posted to Instagram and linked to relevant businesses.
Emotive copy accompanied the 30-second video to evoke a sense of a unique and magical event. The shots captured various aspects of the night at several of the Cathedral Quarter businesses and the video was cut to music chosen for its Christmas connotations.
The event garnered some late-night business for the shops of the Cathedral Quarter and the video enhanced the brand awareness for the Cathedral Quarter itself as well as the individual businesses featured. The video, once posted to Instagram, gained a good amount of audience interaction in the form of likes and comments.
